Gaining Customer Trust with Business Cards

When looking for the best and most economical way to market your business and give it a good image, then don’t neglect the wonders of the simple and tiny 2 by 31/2 inch of paper referred to as the business cards. Although they are tiny, they can give a great impact and leave a lasting impression to those you meet. Because of this, it is important that your cards have the right contact details. This is not only to promote your business but make it easy for people to contact you as well.

To start off, your name and business name are the most important things to consider. It’s critical that you strategically place them in your card depending on your need. For instance, if you are a representative of a company, the business name may be printed in more boldly than your name. But if you are a writer, you can have your name be the center of the card.

It is important that the design of your cards draw attention effectively. You can do this by using eye-catching images or your logo. As much as possible your logo has to be simple so it doesn’t distract the readers. Remember that your goal is to get your prospect’s attention and hold that long enough to present your offerings.

If your card has enough space, it may be essential to list down the types of services or products you offer. This is especially true if your business name does not reflect the nature of your business. List down your offerings at the back or you can put a tag line that describes the nature of your business. It’s not necessary to list down all the services and products you offer, just the top offerings or the general type of services. Keep your tag line short and simple. If it is too complex to understand, people will easily throw out your card.

Of course, your contact details are a must-have in your business card. If your target customers can't contact you perhaps because of an outdated phone number or erroneous address, they would easily turn to your competitors. Keep in mind that it’s critical that you keep your contact details updated to give your customers a quick and easy way of contacting you.

A mobile, office, or fax number will be enough in most cases, but you can also add in other ways for people to reach you personally. There are some customers who prefer to transact business directly. If this is the case, you can give your personal number to the customer. Be wary though of the people you give your personal give. Give it to people you trust only.

Your address is also an essential addition in your cards. Although this is the age of email and mobile phones, there are some instances when your address is needed, so make sure you include your address in your cards. Your address will also help give your business the image of stability, so you might want to keep need listed in your card.

Remember that your business cards are the single most important tool in gaining customer trust. So, make them work for you by ensuring they have the right information and contact details in your business card templates.

Mobile Advertising-New Way Of Promoting Your Business

The concept of mobile advertising is new in the world of advertisement. Mobile marketing can refer to two things: mobile advertising as in traveling or in constant motion of promotion like road shows and billboards, and the current one, mobile marketing SMS as in the use of mobile to build the customers.

Mobile has twisted out to be a useful tool of advertisement with judicious of Short Message Service (SMS).Even though advertisers still desire the conventional means of advertising their products and services but the method of mobile marketing is becoming more accepted nowadays and is also generating more revenues.

The very first definition is significantly categorized to the conventional medium of marketing, wherein a product or a service has to be advertised to an exact intention market or to a particular type of the populace, for instance, regular commuters or bystanders. This type of approach is pretty detailed in its choice as well as can be expensive. The mobile marketing SMS on the other hand is a rather fashionable and one of the latest methods of marketing that uses man's handiest device, the cell phone so to promote or advertise a particular service or products. It uses short codes assigned by mobile operators to all advertisers, and for these short codes can be collective by several small-time companies-it becomes cute cheaper.

Mobile phone advertising has turn out to be really very popular with rise of SMS since early 2000. There are many types of mobile marketing. There is mobile marketing by MMS, Bluetooth, and Infrared, proximity systems, In-game marketing and web marketing. Mobile marketing SMS however is the most genuine and one of the most well-liked options for advertisers given that the big customer market in Europe, America and Asia owns more cellular phones than TV or radio. In Europe itself, more than 100 million of SMS publicity is sent each month. According to mobile statistics for the year 2009, about 2.1 billion of cell phone owners subscribe to SMS text messaging and 55% remark they use their handsets for business purposes.

Under short code, SMS advertising can also be sent to e-mail, and to social networking sites, therefore increasing their fame and multiplying the number of their receivers.

Almost all brand name companies as well gather reviews and reports from buyers and consumers through cellular phones, building it as one of the easiest method for the exchange of information amongst companies and its customers. Unlike with e-mail marketing, which by design brand the advertisements and endorsement as "spam," SMS advertising now has been more regularized and uniform, Transfer only data and updates to those who have willingly disclosed their personal information to the company, thus modifiable complaints from people who do not like to have unwelcomed and suspect promotional post in their cellular phones. According to statistics, 65% of e-mail is considered as spam, whilst 10% of SMS are branded as spam.

At present, about one third of all mobile phone users use mobile phones that can allow them entrance to the internet, and it's expected to get superior in a year or so. There are also millions of persons each day charming in online chat through skype for instance who have 20 million of users each night and facebook who has 350 million of active members. Due to smartphones, the users are now enabled to access and to link to these sites via their cell phones. In reality, mobile marketing SMS is among one of the best choices for those who want to enhance their sales.

The Best Way To Build A Profit-Generating List

Successful online marketing businesses understand how important it is to develop a strong, responsive email mailing list. Most online business owners need a source of contacts who are receptive to their marketing messages so that their businesses can continue to grow. This is why a targeted email list of customers or prospects happens to be the biggest asset of an online marketer/entrepreneur.

If you haven't started building your own email mailing list yet for your online business, then you could be missing out on thousands of dollars in lost sales. In order for any internet business to thrive, then you'll need to build an opt-in email list of targeted subscribers who are interested in your products.

Having your own list enables you to extract the lifetime time value of customer or turn a prospect into a customer. These days, there are many new marketers entering the industry only wanting to make short term profits, without bothering to think about how a successful business could keep making long term profits for years to come.

If you're not sure where to begin building your own mailing list, then don't despair. In this article, we will be discussing a few of the most effective and proven list building tactics to get the most out of your business. Consider the chance to discove how Adam Horwitz and Tim Donovan actually make funds utilizing smartphones to market on-line. The http://www.rylanclayne.com/local-mobile-monopoly/local-mobile-monopoly-review will help you determine if the world of mobile commerce is really for your requirements and can assist you to exploit the industry speedily.

A list building tactic that has been under-utilized by internet marketers is leveraging Amazon.com. You may be skeptical that Amazon can be used for this purpose, but read on. It's a very easy tactic that anyone can learn to use quickly. To use this system, you must have an Amazon account; so if you don't already have one, create one, then sign in to your Profile page. You now start creating a profile on this page, writing an informative description of yourself and your business venture. Make sure that a link to your website is included in your profle. Once you've finished writing your profile, you can write some book reviews on Amazon picking books that have helped you with your business and creating honest reviews about them. Find books you want to review by searching by title or category; choose books you have already read or know something about. This is an excellent way to find targeted visitors to your site: they will first appreciate reading your comments and then want to find out more about you, so they will hopefully click on your profile.

One huge negative trend is failing to build a great relationship with email list subscribers. They don't make the effort to give away free knowledge to their subscribers and then wake up one fine day and shoot a sales pitch to their list. Naturally you have a list because you want to make money. The desire to make money does not mean only a one way flow of sales pitches without giving something valuable to the list. It's up to you, send them great info every week, or so. If you really want to make a great impression, send great content in different formats such as audio/video or pdfs/videos, etc. Be sure to put it on your list of things to do - send value to your list.

In short, since list building is an important element of your online business, you shouldn't ignore it in any way. If you increase your business contacts via a marketing list, then you'll be amazed at the impact this will have.

E-Marketing planning tips for 2011 to help your business

What’s on your marketing plan for 2011? Most businesses have an idea of how important E-marketing (also called internet marketing) is, but many either don’t have a clear strategy or a concrete plan. Putting the time in to plan for activities that can produce results now will yield results for the year to come.

Before diving into the possibilities for your E-marketing plan, let’s briefly touch on marketing plans in general. Not having a written marketing plan, regardless of the size of your business, is a plan to fail. Marketing plans must act as both a plan for the months to come (I prefer a 12 month plan) and a business intelligence tool to report on what’s worked, to what degree, and what should be changed.

Plans should include a healthy mix of marketing strategies that you know to work from past efforts and new strategies you are testing. They should list the pertinent details like:

• Strategy name

• Target market (demographic)

• Quantity

• Cost

• Measurables (website visits, calls, leads, conversions to sale – more granular levels allow more precise analysis and testing)

• Return on investment

Even marketing strategies known to work need to be reported on consistently, as you should be pushing the more successful strategies until you find the point of diminishing return.

Here are some of the top performing E-marketing strategies to consider. Don’t try to take on too many at the same time. Always try to add one or two strategies to your overall marketing plan at a time, testing them against existing strategies and eliminating weaker performing ones.

• Websites – this is a big category, and can include static websites, blogs, landing pages, squeeze pages, and more. A blog is likely your best addition if you don’t already have one. Blogs are well built for search engine optimising, easy to set up and use, and inexpensive to run.

• Article Marketing – writing quality original content and publishing it across the web is a powerful strategy for link building, which is critical for search engine optimisation (SEO) and traffic generation.

• Linkbuilding – building links from other sites to yours is the key to off site SEO.

• Social Media – social media is an important strategy because it gives you exposure to the hundreds of million users spending their time on the sites and also because it is a powerful tool for branding and engagement with your customers. Facebook and Twitter are the big players, but also watch the geolocation sites like Foursquare also offer great opportunities.

• Press Releases – don’t consider using press release sites as a way to send marketing messages, but if you have PR-worthy news, by all means utilize the cost-effective tools for submitting your press releases online.

Based on this, there are basically 3 major obstacles that many of us face in attracting the kind of wealth that we actually want:
1) Limiting attitudes: The main thing which helps to keep us stuck in our present financial scenario is just what we consider to be accurate pertaining to exactly who we're as well as just how much of value we have to provide others. This is actually where many of us get caught up. All of us could strive for financial independence all we would like, but if our underlying belief system opposes this particular pursuit, then we'll often turn out in the same place. Negative and harmful beliefs need to be relieved, if we are to bring in lots of cash into our own lives in ways that's determined by integrity.
2) Our understanding of money: It used to be that nearly everybody had a 9-to-5 career along with benefits and retirement plan. This industrial age paradigm has currently come to pass. We have been living in the information age where money can be produced in new and varied techniques. Right now there are many, many people who don't believe in the 9-to-5 workday and are usually rather experiencing life based on their very own terms. Many of us still feel guilty or lazy whenever we think about structuring our lives so that our own time is freed up and we could carry out just what we actually want to do. It really is a significant step to go for monetary and time independence, because we look at countless folks around us continue to be not doing this. Five Key Marketing Tips To Get Started With An Internet Business

It's a widely accepted statistic that 80% of new businesses fail within the first year of launch, and yet people are still hurtling towards the internet to begin an enterprise (often in a market they have little or no knowledge of). So, naturally there are more Internet failures than before because these budding entrepreneurs are forgetting that old Marketing practices still hold fast for new ventures no matter what people say about them being old-fashioned.
So, I put together this guide of just a few simple things you can do to increase awareness in you/your product/your service.
A website isn't just for Christmas
So, you got yourself a website on WordPress or forked out to have one made for you. Great. Obviously it's pretty essential, but remember that just having it sitting on the internet without doing anything is pretty pointless. You need to drive traffic to your website and to do that you are going to need the help of Search Engines.
Google, Bing, Ask, Yahoo are just some of the names you may find familiar but getting a high ranking on these pages isn't easy and it takes time. Get the help of a business that offers SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) in order to submit your website to the directories and structure your website so that the SE's are more likely to consider your site relevant. This takes time, but don't be tempted by some firms who offer quick, cheap optimisation as they are likely using Black Hat Optimisation to get your website bumped up and Search Engines (Google, in particular) is very intelligent. They will know when a website has been optimised unethically and will penalise you (rank you even lower in results) or ban you completely which is devastating for large businesses not to mention new start-ups!
Another good practice is keeping your website fresh! This is pretty key for two reasons: 1) Search Engines love fresh content. If you have a steady flow of information always going through your site then they will reward you by bumping up your rank; and, 2) Your potential customers will switch off if they see that same old stuff everytime they view your page. Keep it up-to-date, even if it is just a weekly news story or send out a newsletter (always remember to update your homepage in accordance with the newsletter though, otherwise people may come looking for more on your site but just see outdated content.
Use your knowledge and experience to spread the love!
This is something that young businesspeople tend to overlook (or ignore entirely in some cases). By creating a professional image for you, you are creating a professional image for your business!
Get an account on LinkedIn and with your local business directory website. These directories and networking websites are usually free (I wouldn't recommend paying for listings unless you have your heart set on it) and allow you to keep up with your market. Another thing I would really advise is setting up an account with Yahoo Answers! If you are unfamiliar with it, Yahoo Answers is a place where people can ask questions across a wide range of topics and members can answer them based upon their own knowledge and experience. By signing up and providing clear, consise and intelligent answers to people's questions then you are beginning to build a reputation for yourself as someone who knows exactly what they are talking about. This will mean people will trust your judgment and you will become more reputable.
One last thing that I probably shouldn't advise on Yahoo is that there is a section after you have answered a question where you can list sources. I always put in a link to my Project D.E.I.A business site as a source. This is something that is frowned upon by members but as long as you are offering an unbiased and in depth answer to their question no one is going to mind if you stick a link to your website. This means driving targeted traffic to your website and building up your website rank by having more links to it.
Don't forget about the real world
I think setting up Internet businesses appeals to many people of a shy disposition. Makes sense as it is all done online over email, website processes or the phone but whether you are an introvert or not, I'm afraid it's just going to be something you have to deal with that going out and meeting people is a prettu crucial way of getting your business out there! Get yourself some business cards online as they are generally cheaper and printing shops. Go to Vista Print and get some free business cards. You get 250 and you just pay for the post and packaging, so there's no excuse not to have some! Then just go around your town, up and down your street, to some businesses where your potential customers may frequent and speak to them or just ask to leave some cards somewhere people can see them.
By meeting people in person they are much more likely to listen to you and remember your business. Make a point of starting a conversation with someone you don't know very well or just met on a bus or tube journey. Not everyone will go for it but remember psychology 101: Most people are generally conformist! This means that if you approach them a certain way or ask a certain type of question (most notably, one they can't say the word No to) they will engage with you. Try not to be to pushy or actively intimidate them though as it is generally bad manners and they will not be looking for more experiences like that by using your business.
Here is another golden one: Join a local business networking group. These are groups of business owners in a local area that meet up once or twice a fortnight and mix with each other. It is important to know your local area and who knows you might even drum some business-to-business trading which can have huge value for you! Plus, it's not unheard of for businesses to begin an informal partnership. Sometimes if they are in a similar market and get a customer that asks for a particular service they don't offer but you do...well you get the point that it could send a steady trickle of customers your way. Remember this would have to work both ways or the other business would just know you were taking advantage and stop.
Socialise to Monopolise
Using social networking sites such as Facebook and LinkedIn to promote your business may have a mixed opinion within Marketing authorities but if I may offer my a humble view it doesn't cost anything (except an hour or two a week) so why the hell wouldn't you do it?!
Get a page set up for you business on as many free services as you can and pull in as many followers as you can without spamming people. Send a quick message out to all of your friends and ask them to like or view or Tweet about your business and from then on, only contact those who chose to do it and leave the rest. This gives you a small target to spread your word so send out a update as and when you can to keep people clued in with what you are offering and what new things they can read about. Soon, you may find that you have a high number of followers/likers/or whatever they might be called that advocate your business or even become customers.
Promotion, Promotion, Promotion
Creating events for to showcase your business is a great way to have an interactive, hands-on presentation for your prospective customers, but be wary of the obvious risks. Without proper marketing of the event then how are people going to find you? If it is somewhere that people can easily see you from the street and come in then it will generally cost more. A way to boost your numbers and reduce costs is to include other businesses in your area in with the event and tie them all together (you may get funding or support if you are all new start ups) but then remember that your message and marketing efforts may become quieter amidst all of the other businesses competing for their attention.
No one knows your business like you do, so just weight up the pros and cons and think about whether you will be able to get enough people there, if you can afford it and if you have the time/capacity to organise it all (and remember, it need to be perfect!).
Be aware of falling into a trap that claims many young businesses! Pricing yourself out of a market is a quick way to go bust, and that works down as well as up!
To put it in context, if you had a knock at the door and it was someone that wanted to sell you their brand, spanking new car for 10 when it was obviously worth 20,000 times that, would you go for it? No. People say that they would love something for free but in reality we are all suspicious of things that appear to good to be true. Setting a price too low can put customers off just as much as extortion, because like you and the man's car, they are suspicious that the service that are being offered cannot be high quality for the price you are asking for.
So, with promotions and events, never lower your prices past 50% and always make sure it is clear what the original price was and exactly when it will return to that price. Otherwise you may find customers buy your stock or order your services at the lower price thinking that they will always get that value and be very upset when they realise that they can't.

Making A Decision On Whom To Hire Between Individuals And Team Freelancers

Are you a business Webmaster who is looking to delegate some tasks but do not know how to go about it? You are not alone since many online entrepreneurs do not know the benefits of outsourcing work worldwide. Through freelancing bidding sites, many companies and individual webmasters are getting the most out of cheap labor.
These sites have bigger companies and individual workers that can get the job done quickly and effectively. However, many outsourcers often feel confused in that they are not very sure whom to choose between individual and companies. Some freelance sites allow provider companies or agencies to operate as separate entities.
As a buyer, you are given enough options but they can also confuse you. You can hire individual designers, writers, marketers or any other workers or choose a single team to complete your work. The assumption when hiring a team is that every member in it is qualified enough for the task. However, it is extremely difficult to measure the skills of everyone in the group and are much more likely to receive a sample of the work from the best person.
In simpler words, you cannot really know the abilities of a company squad unless it is willing to send a sample for every member in it. While this is a good thing, the team leader would not agree to that unless you are willing to pay for the samples that you like. Since the major goal of outsourcing is cutting back labor or operation costs, paying for samples just to verify the qualifications of about ten people can be expensive.
So, if you really want to hire freelance service companies, the best thing is to overlook all these problems. Besides, if saving time is more important to you than saving money, these big agencies are great. All the same, pay attention to the company's feedback ratings at various freelance sites. If they are positive you are more likely to enjoy your encounter with the group members.
When quality is very important to you, hiring individual workers is fine for some tasks. For instance, if you need high quality articles for your site, an individual writer who is paid well can dedicate enough time and efforts to the completion of the projects. Additionally, you can get uniform results since the writer will use his or her style all the way through.
A team will distribute your ten articles to its ten members for instance, meaning that you will receive ten different articles. If one person's English is not so good, you might not like the quality. Conversely, if you need a team for article marketing, the result can be accurate, uniform and quick.
Outsource rs who are new in the industry and not in a hurry can find a number of individual workers for long-term work. All the same, do not expect to keep a worker for long by paying poor rates or stealing his or her earnings. Treat your freelance individual or provider company well so that it can serve you for long.

Running a Data Entry Business: Adventurous New Niches

You've probably heard about a data entry business or another home based business flourishing in your area because of the Internet. Do you want to start your own business? If you're a fast typist, and your circumstances prevent you from working in an office, this is a very good alternative career. What should you do to make sure that you're successful at it?
Do the dirty work first
Most businessmen would tell you to let the drones handle the dirty work. When it comes to the data entry business though, it's better if you have as much experience as possible. Start at the bottom if you can. Try getting small projects first and then expose yourself to different data entry jobs. Once you've acquired what you would feel as enough experience and projects are coming your way from all directions, network for more transcribers. Just be careful about the quality, though. You would want everyone you're involving in your data entry business to be just as committed to quality and strict deadlines as you are.
Professionalism
Most data entry jobs are home based which makes the handling of the business a little too casual for comfort. Sure, people who work from their homes running a data entry business might work in their pajamas while watching TV. However, that doesn't mean that they should treat their jobs less seriously. Clients will be closing deals with you online and you need to establish the trust between you and them. They need to be sure that you'll deliver the project on time and that you're handing in top quality work.
When you're running your business, make sure you're very professional, not only to your clients, but also to your employees. Be fair, but train them to respect deadlines. Make them realize that speed isn't everything. They need to be accurate in their transcriptions too. Expose employees to as many types of transcription encoding jobs as possible so you'll be stronger as a team.
Managing funds
Managing a team of transcribers while handling transcription projects could be very challenging. Be objective. Try to set aside funds so you can pay your freelancers even if things don't go so well between you and your client. Try to read reviews about companies and clients before accepting a job from them. If you get a major break and you earn more than what you expected to earn, don't get overly excited. Set aside some funds and whenever possible, use the rest to improve your business.

How to Earn Money Writing Online: No Longer a Gimmick

A few years ago, if you told someone you were going to earn money writing online, they'd probably think you were scammed into it. Who would have thought that this would soon turn into a stable career for some people? Moms especially, are so thankful that one can now earn money writing online. If you have the skills yourself and you would like to have this home based career, what qualities should you focus on to be competitive?
Reader-sensitivity
Writing for traditional reading materials and writing online have their similarities. However, the online venue is more concerned about what the reader thinks. You need to consider your reader's convenience when you earn money writing online. It's harder to read on the screen than it is to read on paper, so you have to keep your sentences short and conversational. If you're trying to arrive at a point, you shouldn't be too wordy. Aside from layout concerns, people just tend to be more distracted when they read online.
To catch their attention, you need to go straight to the point. Make your article interesting with catchy facts and deliver it as wittily as possible. As long as you've already found the "it" blend in terms of your tone, you'll be successful with your online writing career
Trusting clients
Of course, you won't earn money writing online unless you know how to form your networks. Ask for referrals from friends who could be doing the same thing. If you have a friend who's in the business, perhaps you can work for that person first just to get the hang of it. Everything will be done through email, though. Just make sure that you maintain a professional image. Do not be too casual when you talk about projects. From your application onwards, try to be as formal as possible. Deliver on time and according to your employer's or client's standards and you should be fine.
Some freelance online writers brave the business by joining online communities like Craigslist, Freelancer.com and oDesk.com. These are the top directories right now if you're looking for freelance work. However, you need to understand that it's very competitive in these venues. You might have to start with a very low rate. Just be patient, perform well, and build trust among clients. Once you've built up your ratings, you can post higher rates for your labor. These websites are good places to look for work because they have regulations which protect both the client and the freelancer.

Making the Most Out of PPC Advertising

For those of you who are trying to do advertising on a budget the thought of entering a contract of paying a set monthly bill may not be the most appealing offer. An alternative, which has quickly risen up the ranks of popularity in the last few years, is Pay Per Click (PPC) or Cost Per Click (CPC) advertising.
An easy choice for individuals or smaller business, PPC advertising combines a manageable deposit account with the simplicity of text and smaller banner ads. The benefits of PPC are usually highlighted as being the quality of traffic that clicks on the links. As text ads and banner ads are nearly always product specific and not the easiest to spot on a website that could also be rife with big towers or things like Google Ads, the traffic that does eventually click on them is often extremely qualified, expressing a distinct interest in the offer.
Although, it's important to understand that PPC advertising isn't as simple as writing a quick sentence about your product and hoping someone clicks on it. As with any other forms of online advertising PPC takes a great deal of time and consideration and from content to context, everything needs to be thought out.
Here are some of the most important things to bear in mind if you're either thinking about starting up a PPC account, or if you're wondering why your PPC campaign isn't working.
Content and Keywords
As PPC campaigns can rely on search engines like Google or Bing for their traffic, the content of the ads is vital if you want your links to be found, let alone clicked. Using one of the numerous keyword tools that are around you'll be able to see which terms are most searched for around your product and how much competition you could be facing.
It's always a good idea to consort with a keyword checker as it'll give you a great foundation for your ad copy while helping you target the right audience - but it doesn't stop there.
Now you've got your keywords you'll need to pad around them, and here's where it can get tricky. There's a fine line between a persuasive ad and one that looks like spam. Remember that while a 'Free' offer might be a great thing, the word free has its own spammy connotations and you might find it to be a hindrance depending on the service you're trying to offer. By this, I mean, if you're advertising tech products in a tech environment then your audience is probably well practiced at spotting naff ads and may not be willing to put as much trust in your offer.
It's also important to reinforce your product. Of course this is dependant on the kind of ad you're running. You won't have as much flexibility if you've got a small text ad but if you can maximise your word count then do it. It can help to emphasis the quality of your product and describe it in as much detail as you can but don't swamp your audience with information.
Call to Action!
The other things that you should always include in your PPC ad is a call to action - without one you're audience isn't being given direction, they're not being told go to and buy your product or go and look at your website.
Using well placed and written 'direct language' can guide your audience to buying your product.
Considering Context
Now if you think you've got the perfect ad that maximises your keywords and gives your audience a call to action, then the next step is to find the right outlet.
Context is everything when it comes to advertising so it helps to think it through carefully and find a site that will give you an attentive audience. There's no point advertising your web hosting services on a website promoting lawnmowers, its just common sense and it certainly won't get you clicks and sales - and you'll end up paying for irrelevant clicks.
The easiest way to find the right advertising space is to use resources like forums or if you already have a site in mind then try and find reviews or talk to a member of the team so get an idea of things like site traffic and click through rates (CTR's).
Managing your PPC
Even after you think you've mastered all of the above, you'll never really get a representation of how good your ads are unless you manage your PPC campaign with an analytics tool. Something like a heat map would be a great help in seeing where your visitors go once they've visited your site via your ad.
Free tools like Google Analytics are easy to get your hands on and pretty simple to use. The best way to maximise them would be to run a couple of different ads at one time, try a mixture of the same ad on different sites, or use one site but maybe 2 different creatives/texts and see which combination of things is working for you.
Finally...
If you put all of these points together then you should be well on your way to managing a well placed and well written PPC campaign. Naturally, getting the balance of keywords, text, creatives etc. can take time so don't be disheartened if you first, second, or even third and fourth campaigns don't quite pan out.
Remember that PPC is a way of getting targeted traffic in an environment that suits your budget so you can always be a little hesitant and opt for some low cost PPC's/CPC's to start with and build your way up from there.

Plasticity - A Key to Lifestyle?

Focus. Breathe in. Chest strains desperately, sucking in only a trickle of air. Unconscious of tent enclosing his head, sides dripping humidity, but feeding him life giving oxygen. Releasing breath, gasping in again, previous breath forgotten, concentrate on the next one. Nothing else matters...only one more breath, one more breath, one more breath. Sleep? Only forever. Concentrate, one more breath, then the next one, the next one...
Periodically a nurse looked in on the young asthmatic with concern. At 3:00 am she called the intern, who administered a shot of adrenaline. There was an immediate easing in the boy's desperate gasping, relenting to a heavy wheezing, in and out. The child soon dropped off to sleep, his first sleep since admission 2 days ago.
The year was 1957. Corticosteroids had been introduced several years previously, but were not yet in general use in British Columbia's interior. Puffers (inhalers) were not available. A shot of adrenaline (epinephrine) could temporarily alleviate a severe asthma attack by over-stimulating the entire body, and incidentally causing enough vasodilation in the lungs to ease breathing, but epinephrine didn't exist in the many forms and concentrations now available, and too many shots, too close together, could be more dangerous than asthma to the over-strained cardiovascular system of a six year old asthmatic. Once the stimulant effect of the adrenaline wore off, the asthma attack returned and stayed until it had run its course.
When your prime imperative is the next breath, and you know that failure to concentrate, means failure to breathe, over the course of time there develops an ability to focus on importance (whatever that is to you) and a corresponding ability to block distractions
"Get him exercising regularly or he'll be bed-ridden for life," the young physician informed his mother. Advice diametrically opposed to what other physicians had advised regarding her 12 year old son. Exercise will bring on attacks and endanger his life, they said. But severe attacks continued. THAT advice wasn't working.
He was enrolled in a District basketball program. Lack of skills and lack of breath made basketball a struggle and that year he missed 46 days of school, his most ever. His parents worried that perhaps they'd made the wrong decision, had worsened the situation. But after the summer break, at the boy's insistence, he was allowed to play the sport in grade 7.
Now, the determination he had applied to breathing for survival in hospital, he applied to pushing his body to stand the strains of basketball.
Even so, the mile run for grade 8 basketball try-outs was an ordeal that recalled his hospital stays. Breath sucked in to straining lungs, legs being willed to keep pumping forward, despite numbness and fatigue. The result? Finish a distant last behind 40 other boys.
In grade 10 he had his last asthma attack. In grade 12 he ran a mile in 5 1/4 minutes. At the age of 40 he discovered he was pre-diabetic. By age 60 he was still pre-diabetic and, in many ways, in better shape than he'd been at 40, an example of the power of Plasticity.
Plasticity is the body's ability to change in response to internal or external environmental changes. Alter the physical stressors on your body, alter your body's nutritional input, and you WILL change your body. That's good news and bad news.
The good news is that plasticity can alter your body in ways most physicians neither acknowledge nor understand to over-come physical limitations. The bad news is that plasticity can alter a strong, healthy body, in ways the FDA and major food manufacturers neither acknowledge, nor wish you to understand, to create physical limitations.
Neuroplasticity, the ability of the human brain to change neural structure in response to new experience and information is one of the hottest, most exciting areas of current brain research.
New research on neuroplasticity is demonstrating that, not only can neural pathways be modified and new ones formed between existing neurons, the brain is can even generate entirely new braincells. This neural regeneration, formerly believed to be impossible after age three or four, has now been shown to occur even up to the age of 70 and beyond.
Change the mental stressors on your brain, alter input, and, as with physical plasticity, you WILL change your brain. For better or worse.
